LIZAGA Mediateka - Visual Identity System
A complete visual identity system created for LIZAGA Mediateka, the public cultural and multimedia centre of
Hiriburu/Saint-Pierre-d’Irube (Northern Basque Country).
The project connects local heritage, culture and accessibility through a coherent graphic system
for printed and digital communication.

PROJECT OUTCOMES
A clear, flexible and durable identity supporting LIZAGA’s ambition to be an inclusive cultural hub,
rooted in its historical and natural environment.
LIZAGA is a public cultural and multimedia centre located in Hiriburu/Saint-Pierre-d’Irube,
housed in the historic Castle of Lissague, in the Northern Basque Country.
I was commissioned to design a complete visual identity for the institution, including the logo,
typography and a comprehensive graphic guide for printed and digital communication.
The identity reflects the dialogue between nature, culture and heritage,
while conveying a contemporary, warm and accessible character.
The visual system draws inspiration from the site’s symbols:
the castle as a cultural stronghold, the dragon as a guardian of knowledge,
and the book as a symbol of transmission and shared learning.
Designed as a modular and sustainable system,
the identity allows the institution to adapt its communication over time
while maintaining strong visual coherence.

LIZAGA Mediateka Hiriburuko Lizaga Gazteluan kokatutako kultura eta multimedia gune publikoa da.
Lekuko identitate bisual osoa sortu nuen:
logotipoa, tipografia eta euskarri inprimatu zein digitalen gida grafikoa.
Sistema grafikoa ondarea, natura eta kulturaren arteko orekan oinarritzen da,
eta denboran zehar egokitzeko moduko egitura modular eta iraunkorra eskaintzen du.
FRANÇAIS
La Médiathèque LIZAGA est un équipement culturel et multimédia public situé à Saint-Pierre-d’Irube, dans le Château de Lissague.
J’ai conçu pour le lieu une identité visuelle complète :
logotype, typographie et charte graphique destinée aux supports imprimés et numériques.
Le système graphique s’appuie sur l’équilibre entre patrimoine, nature et culture,
et propose une structure modulaire et durable, pensée pour évoluer dans le temps.
ESPAÑOL
La Mediateca LIZAGA es un centro cultural y multimedia público situado en Hiriburu,
en el Castillo de Lissague.
Fui encargado de crear una identidad visual completa para el equipamiento:
logotipo, tipografía y guía gráfica para soportes impresos y digitales.
El sistema visual se basa en el equilibrio entre patrimonio, naturaleza y cultura,
y ofrece una estructura modular y duradera, pensada para adaptarse con el tiempo.
