I’m Matias Aguerre, a visual designer and illustrator based in the Basque Country.
I specialise in creating visual identity and printed experiences for cultural spaces, public places and identity-driven brands, including music bands, venues and festivals, publishers and local institutions.
My work combines illustration, editorial design and production expertise to turn a place or an organisation into a coherent visual world: signage, posters, publications, visual systems and printed material that people actually remember.
I have worked on projects such as the visual identity of LIZAGA Multimedia Centre (Basque Country), posters and visuals for POUZZA Fest (Montréal), editorial design for Ireland's leading luxury hotel Adare Manor, and illustration for the Patagonia store in Bayonne.
With more than 20 years of experience in graphic design and print production, I don’t just design images. I create finished, professional, ready-to-use visual systems that work in the real world: on walls, in books, in public spaces and in people’s hands.
